Survey questions ask residents to rate items such as public safety, recreation, ease of travel, services provided by the town, employment opportunities and much more. The town of Brownsburg conducts the survey every 2 years. This is another way for residents to be heard in addition to public meetings.

Results of the survey help the town of Brownsburg plan for the future. More than 400 municipalities across the country have used the survey conducted by the National Research Center. This allows the town to compare their survey results with similar communities.
